Community Relations Assistant

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Develop effective strategies to ensure substantive progress in its ongoing and long-term commitment to operate in a socially responsible manner.
• Develop and implement effective policies, procedures, and programs that support community development and corporate social responsibility objectives.
• Prioritize and organize both near-term and long-range strategies and plans that achieve community development and corporate social responsibility objectives.
• Design and distribution of accurate, timely, and informative communications materials (e.g., bulletins, posters, audio-visual presentations, leaflets, community newspapers, etc.)
• Construct a network of positive relationships and key contacts within the local and regional communities, including external organizations. Governmental authorities, key stakeholders, and throughout the organization
• Evaluate appropriate standards and guidelines relating to the promotion of security, human rights, and sustainable development in the local and regional communities impacted.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree in Political Science, Social Science/Sociology or equivalent.
• Has at least 2 years of experience handling community development work.
• Experience and involvement with social development projects and recreational programs and familiarity with PMRC compliant reports as required by DENR, MGB, PSE, SEC, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High degree of initiative, self-motivation, accountability, and independent judgment
• Computer Literate (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Willing to travel and be assigned to Bulacan (SNMC) board, and lodging is provided.
