Overview: An experienced finance professional with a good working knowledge of the Credit Cards industry and products and a background on financial modeling that can support the business in creating business cases and financial models from scratch.
What you will be doing:
- Drive finance business partnering which enhances the understanding of the senior management teams of their key financial performance drivers and business performance issues
- Support the Business Units (BU) to make timely, strategically aligned, and value-maximizing decisions through multi-dimensional analysis within relevant financial and operational business scenarios
- Ensure viability of business cases and promotions. Drive ROI culture through robust pre- and post- business case evaluation
- Perform and provide channel/use case P&L analysis to management and BUs (financial modeling and scenario analysis).
- Perform growth analysis to support forecast and ongoing business performance - market, pricing, volume and initiatives
- Drive gross margin enhancement through net revenue management pillars (pricing, active mix, trade spend & business case management)
- Drive profit through use of financial principles and managing operating expenses with budget owners
- Work with BU leadership teams in the preparation of plans/budgets/forecasts and ensure alignment with management expectations
- Track forecast accuracy and build culture of proactivity and continuous improvement • Ensure commercial controls are in place for sales-related processes
- Implement management monitoring and compliance on commercial terms
- Conduct commercial analysis to pinpoint issues to management team to help drive action plans including business opportunities, risk and mitigation plans
- Lead financial evaluation of significant business opportunities to provide a long-term perspective of the impact on business profitability
- Provide business environment/ competitor analysis (at product level) to the BUs and senior management teams.
What we are looking for:
- Graduate of Business Administration/ Accounting/ Management Accounting/ Economics/ Statistics
- At least 3 years related work experience in a bank, with a background on Credit Cards business
- Experience in data management and reporting strategy (i.e., management reporting)
