Your Role

As a Collection Specialist, you will:

  • Ensures accurate and timely distribution of customer invoices in line with company terms.
  • Monitors accounts receivable aging and follows up with customers to secure prompt payments.
  • Investigates and resolves billing discrepancies and system errors independently.
  • Negotiates payment plans or settlements with customers when needed.
  • Accurately applies customer payments across various methods (credit card, ACH, etc.).
  • Maintains organized records of customer accounts, collection efforts, and communications.
  • Prepares regular collection reports and metrics for management review.
  • Collaborates with the accounting team during month-end close and supports other departmental projects.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • 6–8 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable within B2B or high-volume environments.
  • Proven track record in negotiating payment plans and resolving customer disputes effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and analyzing collection metrics.
  • Experienced in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks, and knowledgeable in credit card and ACH payment processing.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
