Job Summary
- Assists the CMS Supervisor in the operations of the Central Monitoring Station (CMS) in accordance with the standards prescribed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), or the purpose of safeguarding the resources, assets and premises of the Bank and its Business/Cash Centers.
- Responsible for the 24-hour monitoring of the CMS operations and evaluation of the security system installed in the CMS, BCs/RSCs, or offices of the RCBC.
- Monitors minimum standards for protective construction and installation of security devices and equipment in the Bank.
- Ensures that all CCTV and alarm equipment installed in RCBC is maintained and in good working condition to meet operational requirements.
- Ensures that the CCTV and alarm systems evidence is logged, collected, viewed, produced, and handled in line with the relevant security policies and procedures.
- Communicates and liaises with relevant units within RCBC and other external agencies including other law enforcement agencies, when necessary.
- Processes reports, keeps maintenance records, prepares and maintains appropriate CCTV and alarm system operations in accordance with the CMS Desk Manual.
- Provides operational knowledge and inputs to CCTV and alarm system policies.
- Ensures compliance with the alarm testing of BCs.
- Monitors compliance with/adherence to the following by the alarm service provider as stated in the Service Agreement (Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule, Submission of After Service Report, Schedule of repair/service as reported).
- Receives and processes incoming calls from all RCBC units with regard to security concerns.
- Keeps abreast of updates on BSP policies as stipulated in the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and Bank policies as specified in the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MTPP) through circulars, required seminars/programs and adheres to said policies.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Chief Security Officer and Security Operations Officer.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Working knowledge of Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, Investigation, Security and Safety.
- Familiarity with security and safety equipment and their proper operation is required.
- Preferably with knowledge in computers and banking operations.
- At least one year (1) industry experience in the area of Bank Security.
