- Analyze results of assessments, reports, tests and other verifications of assets
- Review scan data to identify and report new findings
- Research and investigate new and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure remediation of identified vulnerabilities within noted timeframes and in adherence with information security policies
- Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks, escalate delays in a timely, strategic manner utilizing project management techniques and methods
- Provide key stakeholders with regular updates on the progress, key blockers, dependencies, target dates
- Collect and aggregate information from a variety of sources and produce actionable reports and metrics
- Work with other Engineers to validate that data from internal and external sources is relevant, trustworthy and actionable and ensure the platform provides required data and level of granularity
- Seek opportunities for additional responsibilities and growth within the organization. Show initiative and enthusiasm in suggesting and implementing new concepts or ideas for improvement.
- Flexibility working with overseas teams during off-hours
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT, Information Security,
- Knowledgeable and deep understanding of vulnerability and risk management
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and summarize data into executive reports
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain flexible and maintain high-quality output in a fast-changing, demanding environment
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (PCI, ISO, etc.)
- Experience with tools like Qualys, Splunk, Tanium, Illumio, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus
- Experience with data gathering, filtering and manipulation using Python
