Position: Claims Assistant
Location: Cyberscape Beta, Ortigas, Pasig
Work setup & shift: Onsite setup | Day shift

You'll Have
- Review of documentation submitted for various administered projects.
- Recognize discrepancies or lack of information within claim documentation and take appropriate action.
- Maintain acceptable levels of productivity and accuracy.
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, mailing, and scanning,
- Reviews claim to ensure accuracy and compliance with processing standards
- Uses proprietary software tools to access and review claimant documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed
- Ensures clear, concise, evidence-based rationales have been provided in support of all recommendations and/or determinations.
- Ensures that all written instructions and specifications have been followed and that all questions have been addressed.
- Communicates immediately to supervise all obstacles of items out of the norm to completing work
- Data entry and verification
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
As a Claims Assistant, you will:
- Call insurance companies and chase responses
- Call insurance to request reports
- Call insurance on behalf of claims manager and wait on hold
- Call insurance to make various follow ups
- Email insurance companies chasing follow ups
Non-negotiables
- Must have over 2 years of experience working in the insurance industry
- Applicants with CSR experience are open to apply
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Insurance background would be highly regarded
