As a Claims Administrator, you will:
- Analyze and respond to the first notification of the claim.
- Identifying files which are to be actively pursued through all avenues of recovery.
- Providing timely and useful advice to insurers and the client regarding claim developments.
- Identifying and obtaining relevant quantum documentation as required within the client organisation.
- Identifying claims at risk of litigation and taking the required steps to ensure the necessary commercially focused steps are taken.
Non-negotiables
- Previous experience in the end to end claims management experience.
- Experience interpreting legislation, insurance policies and commercial agreements.
- Experience identifying potential issues within claims and escalating for review.
- Demonstrated experience in file reviews.
- Previous experience and working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and document management systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work well within a team, communicate needs, give constructive
- Ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment independently when required.
