Your Role:

Position Summary

The Claims Administrator proactively manages a portfolio of motor claims for leading Australian companies throughout the entire claims life cycle. This includes coordination with clients, claims executives, and insurers to ensure efficient processing, documentation, reporting, and settlement of claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end claims processes, ensuring timely and effective handling
• Respond to initial claim notifications and assess next steps
• Identify opportunities for recovery and escalate files for further pursuit
• Provide timely updates and advice to insurers and clients
• Gather and review relevant documentation to support claim outcomes
• Monitor claims at risk of litigation and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Maintain accurate records and reports throughout the claims process
  
  

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Solid experience in end-to-end claims management, particularly in the Australian market
• Background in handling both commercial and domestic insurance products
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to interpret insurance policies, legislation, and commercial agreements
• Experience identifying claim risks and initiating escalations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems
  
  

Preferred skills/expertise

• Demonstrated experience in conducting file reviews and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage high volumes of claims efficiently
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards
• Experience working in a BPO or insurance support environment is a plus
