Job Summary:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as a strategic and pragmatic technical leader responsible for shaping and executing the company's technology vision. We seek a mature, resilient, and highly capable leader with proven leadership qualities, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to deliver tangible value. Ideally, this candidate has a start-up background, demonstrating hands-on experience, agility, and resilience in fast-paced environments. The CTO will be instrumental in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, fostering innovation, and driving operational excellence that directly benefits the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Solution Design: Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture roadmap that is practical, results-driven, and aligned with key business objectives. Demonstrate a mature understanding of development approaches and the operational impact of technical decisions.
• Technical & Leadership Expertise: Provide strong, hands-on guidance across architecture, integration, and development. Lead by example, actively involved in solving complex technical challenges, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within scope.
• Leadership & Team Development: Build, motivate, and manage high-performing teams with a focus on professional growth and resilience. Address staff performance issues with maturity and fairness, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Effective Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Clearly articulate technical strategies and concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders. Present ideas practically, with a focus on delivering value and business impact.
• Resilience & Agility: Demonstrate resilience in overcoming technical and operational challenges. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions, ensuring the organization maintains technological agility and competitive edge.

• Project & Architecture Oversight: Provide pragmatic architectural guidance for projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and deliver measurable value. Participate actively in project execution and troubleshooting.
• Governance & Compliance: Uphold best practices in IT governance, security, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on risk management and integrity.
• Business & Technical Alignment: Work closely with leadership to ensure technology investments and initiatives generate tangible business value. Prioritize solutions that enhance efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Drive deployment, scaling, and optimization of technology, digital payments, and data analytics, ensuring operational stability and growth.
• Resource & Budget Management: Manage resources and budgets with a focus on delivering value, ROI, and strategic importance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline; executive leadership or business certifications are advantageous.

Experience

• 10+ years leading technology initiatives with demonstrated leadership, maturity, and resilience, preferably with start-up or scale-up experience.
• Proven expertise in architecture, system integration, IoT, cloud solutions, and digital payments.
• Strong track record of managing diverse teams and delivering impactful, business-focused solutions in dynamic environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, practical strategies that bring measurable value.
• Proven resilience and agility during periods of change and challenge, maintaining focus on business objectives.
