We are seeking a talented individual to join our regional team in Asia at Marsh. This role has flexibility on location within Southeast Asia, where Marsh has presence, and welcomes applications from across the region. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Reporting to the Chief Client Officer, Asia, this role has been established to provide the organization’s key clients with a senior level contact to collaborate with them on their strategic risk issues to deepen, broaden, and institutionalize relationships between the two organizations, reduce at risk exposure and increase opportunities with these key clients, all of which are key to the Marsh's growth efforts within South Asia. This role will specifically work with key strategic contacts within Marsh's top 50 clients to develop, maintain and build these relationships with a key objective of growing and expanding business with these organizations. This role will also focus their efforts on developing new business with defined key organizations in country as well as from a regional perspective.

We will count on you to:

  • Focus on the growth of existing & new large clients in Asia as defined by the business, effectively working as the Client Executive on these nominated accounts to develop, build and maintain relationships with senior level decision makers.
  • Support the Risk Management (RM) & Corporate & Commercial segment leaders with specific clients to maintain regular contact and discussions
  • Work with various parts of the organization to ensure similar engagement from Client Executives (CE) with clients including professional account management and system adoption organizations
  • Ensure engagement of other key areas of the organization including Digital, Industry, Specialty, Employee Benefits and Marsh Advisory
  • Develop and deliver strategic account plans including a focus on international expansion opportunities as well as market strategy
  • Conduct annual in-person satisfaction evaluation and follow-up on all Client Survey results
  • Engage in active involvement in all offensive and defensive RFPs in excess of US$100K.
  • Works as an objective sounding board for the client to surface and escalate potential issues and conduct exit interviews and “After Action” reviews with lost clients
  • Extend, broaden and accelerate opportunities with other business lines under Marsh McLennan Companies to realize increased client engagement and revenue growth
  • Deliver targeted Marsh/MMC Intellectual Property as appropriate

What you need to have:

  • Progressive professional services and client industry experience over a minimum 15-year career, with a record of driving client retention and growth directly with clients at the senior executive level
  • Insurance and related industry experience preferred
  • Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to drive activities and growth across various areas of the organization.
  • Dedication to quality in all aspects of your work performance and client services, with a passion for excellence
  • Solution focused approach and attitude
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills; a team player who naturally maintains solid working relationships with colleagues and other relevant stakeholders
  • Compelling communication style; able to effectively associate with various audiences, adapting your approach as appropriate. Sound listening and comprehensive skills a must.
  • Dedicated to professionalism and providing high-level client service to exceed client expectations
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage a fast-paced workload
