Job Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring that the DMSs are activated and being followed by the Line Team.

Principal Accountabilities

• Owns the CIL, Defect Handling and Incident Elimination DMS’s
• Manages & improves results necessary to achieve Compelling Business Need.
• Leads execution of 90 Day Plans to eliminate losses using Operations Plus tools.
• Leads the Line DDS meeting and Follow-Up DDS
• On the floor coaching of equipment owners:
• DMS Execution
• Loss Elimination
• Skill Development/Technical Mastery
• Provides coaching to team leaders in the shift exchange DDS meeting.
• Leads issue resolution “to Root Cause” on the floor of chronic stops.
• Leads activities including shop floor condition and safety management in accordance with company policy.
• Plans and executes the training and organizes his cell for stable manpower and resources.
• Ensures all learning and development activities are recorded and tracked.
• Evaluates training needs and learnings of co-workers using established assessment tools.
• Supervises organization for good company culture.
• Performs other related functions as may be assigned by superiors.
  
  

Qualifications

Graduate of Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Technology or any four (4) year college course or its equivalent.

Minimum seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing a manufacturing experience, two of which are in supervisory position

Strong knowledge of production equipment and its capabilities

Experienced in printing packaging technology

Highly analytical, good attention to details and solid background in Root-Cause Analysis

Excellent understanding of customer requirements and product specifications

Strong leadership skills and communication skills

Competent quality decisiveness as per job requirements

Has experience in preparing OPL, WI and SOP

Has safety knowledge as per job requirements
