Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our dynamic culinary team. As a CDP - Pantry/Pastry, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences by preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and other culinary delights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pastry Production: Prepare a wide range of pastries, desserts, and breads, including cakes, tarts, cookies, and bread.
• Menu Development: Assist in developing and refining dessert menus, ensuring they align with seasonal trends and culinary standards.
• Ingredient Management: Source and manage high-quality ingredients, ensuring freshness and cost-effectiveness.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
• Kitchen Operations: Contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment.
• Cost Control: Assist in managing food costs and minimizing waste.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a CDP or similar role in a reputable culinary establishment.
• Strong pastry skills, including baking, decorating, and plating techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for culinary arts and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
