About the Role
Cash Unit Head is responsible for managing overall operations of Cash Unit in terms of service delivery, productivity and strict compliance with established policies and procedures of the Bank. Manage the career of subordinates through a fair and reasonable measurement of performance and provide opportunities for growth and advancement (e.g. succession program, training, job rotation).
How you'll contribute
1. Responsible for managing overall operations of the cash unit in terms of service delivery, productivity, and strict compliance to established policies and procedures of the bank
• Primary custodianship and access to vault with Assistant Cash Unit Head/Senior DPU Teller or designated alternate
• Evaluate daily cash requirement of Unit and branches to ensure availability
• Supervises cash deposit/withdrawal to/from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
• Performs bundle count and supervises machine count of all cash received from Branches within the same day of receipt
• Ascertains that policies, procedures and guidelines as to cash and armored car operations are strictly implemented
2. Orients new hires on the role and responsibility within the unit. Conducts regular meetings to address issues, updates on policies and procedures, news and events about the Bank.
3. People Leadership and Development
• Regular meetings / Learning Hour with the team
• Regular pep talks one-on-one discussion for personnel who needs proper guidance
• PAR, IDP and PIP discussion for transparency and open line communication between leaders and team members.
4. Ethics, Risk, Compliance and Control
• Low Risk Audit rating to at least 95% of units across CCBS Division
• Resolve BSP exceptions related to CCBS Division
• Well managed risks in all OG units within the CCBS Division through constant partnership/collaboration with designated AGO.
• Timely submission of BCP, RCSA, BCRA, BIA, Quarterly Certifications (and other requirements by AGO).
5. Act as BCP Coordinator and Primary Operational Risk (OR) Coordinator of the unit.
6. Prepares required reports as follows:
• Peso and Dollar Charges – Monthly
• Cash Requests/Transfer amounting to Php5M and up – Daily
• Scheduled Watch listed Accounts-Monthly •Dashboard – Daily
• CIV Exceptions-Monthly
• Dollar Shipment / Dollar Swap – Monthly
• Branches with Excess CIV / CIV of Cash Units – Daily
•Cash 360 Manual Cash Proof
•Billing for brinks / southbend
What we’re looking for
- With 5 - 10 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Leadership Skills
- Computer Literate
- Good intrapersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral comprehension and expression)
- Attention to details and analytical skills
- Familiarity with files maintenance and records management system
- Knowledge in Bank’s policy and practices
- Knowledge in BSP rules and regulation
- Ability to work well with people from various socio-economic classes
- Trustworthy
