UCT is looking for a talented Buyer to join us in Cebu!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order confirmations.
• Checking and updating delivery dates.
• Reporting (OOR...).
• Request for Quotation.
• Maintaining data in ERP Helios – master data, supplier data.
• Inventory optimization.
• Costs optimization.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Helios or similar software.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and cost optimization strategies.
• Awareness of vendor management and RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes.
• Proficiency in data reporting and analysis.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• Analytical thinking for identifying trends and optimizing inventory and costs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software.
• Ability to manage and update master data and supplier information within the ERP system.
• Regularly check and confirm order details and delivery dates.
• Generate and distribute reports, including OOR (Open Order Report), to relevant stakeholders.
• Handle RFQs and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to purchasing and inventory.
  
  

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or a related field is typically required.
• Relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain roles may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  
  

Experience Requirement:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a procurement, supply chain, or vendor management role.
• Experience working with ERP systems, particularly in maintaining master data and supplier information.
• Previous experience with inventory management and cost optimization processes is preferred.
• Familiarity with handling RFQs and vendor communication is beneficial.
