Buyer-Fresh(Produce)

SUMMARY:

• Supports the Division Merchandise Manager/AVP in various buying activities and effectively negotiate for the best deals from suppliers.

DESCRIPTIONS:

• Achievement of sales and margin targets.
• Build-up merchandise SKU in the system by encoding assigned SKU number, merchandise description, vendor code, product classification/category, item cost and other relevant information necessary for proper identification of individual merchandise.
• Coordinates orders and delivery of items to concerned suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in any business field.
• Preferably Manager/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Merchandising or equivalent.
• With at least 3 year buying experience in a retail environment or substitute 5 years merchandising experience in clerical or general function
• With good negotiation and adequate communication skills
• With a sense of urgency and can handle pressure.
• Proficient with microsoft office apps such as (excel, word)
• With solid background in FRESH (Meat, Fruits and Vegetables)
