Job Overview
As a Business Functional Partner – Finance, you will work closely with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert financial insights. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll drive budget planning, financial forecasting, and performance analysis, helping shape business decisions aligned with Tribal’s long-term goals.
This role is ideal for experienced finance professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to make a real impact across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to evaluate financial data, analyze trends, and recommend improvements
- Design and maintain reports to track project and contract performance against budget and forecasts
- Lead the budgeting and monthly forecasting process using accurate, data-backed assumptions
- Provide business and financial commentary to explain monthly variances vs. budget
- Present financial results to key stakeholders and leadership teams
- Prepare monthly reforecasts and assist in 12-month rolling forecasts and reporting
- Support audit processes and contribute to reporting suite development in Power BI
- Assist in preparing Board-level presentations with thorough financial analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements within the Finance function
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
- Strong background in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Business partnering experience, including presenting financials to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Desirable:
- CPA qualification (preferred but not required)
- Experience in Shared Services or Global Business Services setups
- Familiarity with systems like Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Kantata/Kimble
- Exposure to transitioning finance functions from onshore to offshore
- Experience with Power BI and financial reporting automation
