Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.

  • Identify potential B2B clients in the Australian market and build a robust database of leads.
  • Reach out to small building, handyman, and joinery businesses in Canberra, including builders and commercial clients.
  • Initiate outbound communication through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media, to generate interest in our products and services.
  • Conduct thorough research to qualify leads and understand their needs and pain points.
  • Schedule meetings and demos with qualified leads to drive the sales pipeline.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Conduct engaging and persuasive product presentations to potential clients.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and their benefits.
  • Manage and prioritize a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for conversion.

Requirements

Skills/Requirements Needed:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales development, preferably in the Australian market.
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation and business development.
  • A strong understanding of the Australian market and industry trends.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting.
  • A strong ability to generate your own leads, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic.
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • An obsession with prospect happiness - set the stage for effective sales follow-up.

Additional Job Details:

Set-up and Location: WFH (Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, and Cebu)

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEST) | 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (PH Time)

Employment Type: Full-time
