Job Summary (Purpose) :

The Brand Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial leadership on their designated brand through analyzing the brand's performance, leading the budget process for their designated categories, providing financial strategic recommendations, controlling investments, and partnering with the commercial teams to provide financial perspective.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Preparation of Brand Budgets / Latest Estimates and Strategic PlansPresentation of Brand P&Ls to Local Mancom and Marketing for the Reviews with Division.
  • Margin Reconciliations by Brand / Category and Preparation of Brand related Exhibits – SPIs, Category Operating P&L, Vertical P&L
  • P&L projections for rolling 6 months based on Business Planning Process (BPP) Forecasts for Leadership team and highlighting of key trends
  • Analysis of Brand profitability with the help of Margin Reconciliations and monitoring the same versus Budget / Latest Estimates
  • Financial Support to respective Brand / Category Cross-functional Commercial Teams for various Brand initiatives viz Promotions, New launches / Relaunches
  • Co-ordination with Marketing/ Customer Marketing Function for finalising promotional schemes/programs by analysing its financial impact on Brand profitability and monitoring of spends versus Budget / Latest Estimates

Educational and Functional Experience required :

Education :

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting and/or Finance

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of diversified financial experience
  • Strong Excel skills

Skills Required :

  • SAP Proficiency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Functional Proficiencies :

  • SAP
  • Analytical & Problem solving skills
