How You Spend Your Eight Hours

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely payments
• Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and process electronic transfers, check runs, and wire payments
• Maintain the accounts payable ledger and ensure accurate recording of expenses
• Support month-end closing by preparing accruals, journal entries, and financial reports
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and within terms
• Respond to vendor inquiries and foster positive relationships
• Identify and recommend process improvements for accounts payable management
  
  
  

What You Must Possess

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or any related field
• One to two years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (preferably in Sage X3)
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable management
