Bosun - Gas Tanker

We are seeking a Bosun with gas handling experience to join our Offshore department at Wagenborg. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our gas carriers.

• 
  Assist in the maintenance and operation of deck machinery and equipment.

• Supervise deck crew during mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling operations.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.

• Contribute to the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the vessel for optimal functionality

• Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures

• Work closely with the deck officers and other crew members to ensure smooth operations

  Valid applicable Certificate of Competence (Rating Deck STCW II/4 and II/5)

• Valid STCW Training Certificates

• Valid Certificate Basic Training for Liquified Gas Tanker Cargo Operations (STCW A-V/1-2)

• Valid Certificate Advanced Training for Liquified Gas Tanker Cargo Operations (STCW A-V/1-2)

• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor

• Good English communication skills

• Ability to work well in an International team environment

• Proficiency in safety procedures and emergency response

• Flexibility to work in challenging environments and varying schedules
