Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and Accounting:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
- QuickBooks Management:
- Utilize QuickBooks for managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Generate and analyze reports to assist in financial decision-making.
- Financial Statement Support:
- Assist in the preparation and review of supporting documentation for monthly and annual financial statements.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the review process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
