Work Arrangement: Work from Office

Location: Any CS Site - Ortigas, Makati, Angeles, Mabalacat, Cebu, Davao

Schedule: Night Shift

Job Description

Work-From-Office is a setup based in Angeles//Cebu/Mabalacat/Makati/Ortigas

We are looking for an individual with a strong attention to detail and highly organized who will maintain original entries into Quickbooks in the area of cash including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll using classes, customer fields and items to track financial activity. Demonstrating professional communication skills and competent excel skills with a demonstrated desire to expand their expertise, will allow for expanded work content.

Bookkeeping or Accounting experience is preferred for the position. The monthly work cycle is typical with a higher volume of deadlines the first two weeks of the month, yet depending on skill level, an increased workload is possible. Training will be provided where needed.

Communication style and manner in a fully remote environment is critical therefore, written and verbal communication skills are paramount to success as well as comfortability with video access/meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with 3-5 team members maintaining original entries into QB Online
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations in QBO
  • Prepare journal entries in QBO
  • Experience with Customer and Class use and reporting in QBO
  • Perform account reconciliations in Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Teams
  • Gathering and organizing data to perform job functions
  • Identify and communicate obstacles encountered in a timely and succinct manner
  • Perform duties with a professional curiosity while continually learning to link all data to business operations
  • Comfortable with a varied landscape of accounting operations technology options (Bill.com, QBO, Bill & Spend (formerlyDivvy)
  • Assist directors with data projects as needed

Qualification And Requirements

  • Experienced bookkeeper with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Quickbooks Online experience required
  • Bill.com experience required
  • Attention to being detail oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Can work independently to reach goals, Excellent teamwork skills using verbal and written communications
  • Maintain flexibility with remote staff while meeting deadlines, which may require a small amount of non-standard work hours (before 9, and after 5 pm) during the month
  • Non-profit experience is not required, but strongly preferred.
  • On the job training in industry accounting standards, regulatory compliance and niche accounting systems provided as needed.
