Bookkeeping duties:

1. Records/ encodes Disbursement Vouchers in the QuickBooks system.
2. Journalize in QuickBooks all transactions and expenses not recorded in the Check voucher.
3. Post recorded transactions and prepare Trial Balance for the month
4. Prepare Income Statements for the month per branch
5. Prepare Balance Sheet for the quarter period.
6. Review the Income Statements for necessary adjustments if any
7. Consolidate Income Statements per branch for the quarter
8. Prepare Consolidated Income Statement per branch per company at the end of the year.
9. Responsible in filing of Accounting Documents such as Check Disbursement Vouchers, Journal Vouchers Receipts, Invoices, and other important supporting documents
10. Perform other related duties as required by the Accounting Manager / Management.

Tax responsibilities:

1. Prepares BIR Payments/Certificates & monitor deadlines.

2. Collect from branches monthly sales report for BIR purposes and calculate VAT payable for the month.

3. Preparation of and uploading for online payment of monthly remittance of withholding taxes, Quarterly VAT, Quarterly ITR, Annual ITR

4. Encodes all receipts and purchases with VAT (all companies) and summarize monthly/ quarterly input taxes

5. Collects and Encodes and summarizes BIR Form 2307 from banks.

6. Coordinates with branches re payment of taxes and renewal of Business/Mayor’s Permit.

7. Liaison in BIR for tax concerns/ compliance to LOAs and other letters of deficiency.

8. Coordinates and provides documents needed by External Auditors from time to time.

9. Maintains and responsible in maintaining and updating files of all BIR tax payments/compliance certificates/Business/Mayor’s Permits/ SEC Registration/GIS (all branches).

10. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
