About the Role

We're hiring a Billing & Accounts Payable Specialist to help build a brand-new department at Parsel. This team member will manage financial operations while directly engaging with our customers. Because we're a small and dynamic team, there will also be times when you'll jump in to support other areas such as app support, merchant support, or dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage billing, invoicing, and accounts payable with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate directly with merchants and partner accounts in a professional, customer-first manner.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, digging deeper when numbers don't align.
  • Support financial analysis to understand merchant performance and business impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and step in to support other departments when needed.
  • Help design and implement scalable processes for long-term efficiency.

  • Financially minded, with the curiosity to investigate and solve problems.
  • Data-driven thinker, confident in Excel/Sheets and large data analysis.
  • Positive and adaptable, with a startup mindset.
  • Process-oriented, focused on building scalable systems.

Tools & Tech

  • Required: Stripe, Google Sheets/Excel, ticketing software (Atlas, Intercom, Zendesk, or similar).
  • Bonus: SQL or experience with dashboards/reporting tools.
