As a Bilingual Recruiter for our client, you'll be the talent ambassador who bridges exceptional Dominican professionals with transformative career opportunities. You'll identify, engage, and secure top-tier candidates who will drive our client's business forward in the Dominican Republic market. Your expertise will not only elevate our client's employer brand but will also create memorable recruitment journeys that turn candidates into advocates.
This pivotal role sits at the intersection of relationship building, strategic talent acquisition, and market intelligence, making you an indispensable partner in our client's continued growth and success.
The impact you’ll make:
- Champion talent acquisition strategies that capture exceptional bilingual professionals across the Dominican Republic market by designing targeted campaigns that highlight your company's unique value proposition and growth opportunities
- Orchestrate end-to-end recruitment campaigns from compelling job descriptions to seamless onboarding experiences, ensuring candidates feel valued and engaged throughout their journey from prospect to team member
- Cultivate and nurture diverse talent networks through strategic partnerships with local universities, professional associations, digital platforms, and community engagement initiatives that position your organization as an employer of choice
- Partner strategically with leadership to translate business objectives into targeted talent acquisition approaches, providing data-driven insights that inform hiring decisions and workforce planning
- Conduct insightful candidate evaluations using structured interview techniques that assess both technical qualifications and cultural alignment, ensuring candidates bring both the skills and mindset needed for success
- Leverage cutting-edge recruitment technologies, including AI-powered screening tools, video interviewing platforms, and analytics dashboards, to optimize hiring workflows, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance the candidate experience
- Monitor and analyze Dominican labor market dynamics to provide competitive intelligence on salary benchmarks, emerging skill sets, and competitor hiring activities, positioning your organization to attract top talent ahead of market shifts
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of local hiring practices, labor laws, and sourcing strategies.
- Experience using various recruitment platforms, job boards, and social media for talent sourcing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with ATS and recruitment tools is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to assess candidate fit effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for building teams and contributing to organizational success.
- You are fluent in both French and English and have a knack for connecting with people.
- You have a proven track record in recruitment and/or are familiar with the local labor market in the Dominican Republic.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects without losing attention to detail.
- You are committed to creating a positive candidate experience and promoting an engaging employer brand.
- You are highly reliable with a GSD mindset despite external circumstances. You say what you mean and do what you say. You are consistent and take ownership in situations, large or small.
- You are Proactive, see potential problems before they happen, and aren’t afraid to speak up/challenge the status quo.
- You thrive in a remote work environment. Fully remote work is not for everyone; it requires the ability to quickly pick up online tools, get familiar with our tech stack (G-Drive, Slack, Notion, and a variety of modern applicant tracking systems), and the ability to communicate (and often over-communicate) well in writing.
