Job Description

Responsible for developing and maintaining data visualizations and reports using Power BI or related tools. Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. They work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop BI solutions that provide insights and drive business decisions.

Entry level professional position. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Builds collaborative working relationships internally and externally. Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports using Power BI or related tools, and ensure that they are accurate, timely, and user-friendly
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Power BI solutions or related solutions
• Develop and implement data models and transformations to support BI visualizations and reports
• Manage and maintain data sources, including data quality control, data cleansing, and data transformation
• Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in BI development, and apply them to enhance data visualizations and reports
• Train and support business stakeholders in the use of BI reports, and provide guidance on best practices for data visualization and reporting
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of BI solutions, and make recommendations for improvements
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and regulations

• Bachelor"s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Less than 2 years of related experience.
• With experience in the IT business field.
• With experience working in a global business environment.
• Ability to present and communicate in small and large group settings.
• Experience in Service Desk or Deskside services in an operational role.
• Strong experience in computers and IT support environment.
• Effective communication skills - written, verbal, listening.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Proven ability to remain flexible in a changing environment.
• Due to 24x7 global aspect of the customer, must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule as required.
• Proficient level and experience in MS Office, Excel MSWord, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to follow directives and written processes with complete accuracy.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and to adapt well to frequent changes.
• Ability to multi-task and change focus quickly and efficiently.
• BPI experience in the IT business field.
• Significant IT Global experience.
• Working experience with Databricks is a plus.
