Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee smooth operations of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) with the Branch Operations Officer (BOO).
  • Maintain and acquire new clients to boost deposits and profits.
  • Supervise and monitor BOO's execution of duties per bank and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and recommend training or personnel changes.
  • Evaluate and approve monthly reports from BOO.
  • Lead monthly SBU meetings and attend BBG meetings.
  • Market and sell banking products, including loans and deposits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client issues effectively.
  • Ensure thorough credit evaluations and compliance with credit processes.
  • Monitor and manage loan applications and portfolios proactively.
  • Identify and address potential loan issues early on.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of three years in banking and sales.
    • At least one year in a managerial role, preferably as a Branch Manager.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Familiarity with rural banking practices.
