Backend Engineer (NodeJS)

CORE PROFILE

The position requires the personnel to design and develop highly available architectures. He/she is expected to provide cost effective solution to problems and integrate new technologies to existing/future architectures.

NATURE OF WORK

• Take project requirements and map them to technical design
• Actively participate in architecture design teams as a key contributor to product definition and future implementation planning
• Work closely with web & backend development teams to ensure the platform is built to support their needs
• Participate in the team's day-to-day sprint activities such as planning, development, debugging, maintenance and support of the platforms assigned to Growth & Loyalty team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Capable of working on larger code bases with proficiency.
• Possesses the ability to comprehend existing design and technology choices within a system

• Primary language: node.js, python (nice to have)
• Databases: postresql, mysql, redis
• Api design: REST, GRPC
• Api auth: JWT
• Dev ops: docker, kubernetes, AWS, Gitlab CI/CD
