Your Role

As an AU/UK Senior Accountant, you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of internal and external reporting requirements, including monthlymanagement reports, statutory reports, and vendor-facing financial summaries.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of AU and UK tax obligations (e.g.BAS, IAS PAYG, Corporation Tax, VAT).
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, auditors, and tax authorities to meet compliance and reporting deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and templates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the finance team for month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals with high attention to detail.
• Assist in the design, development, and automation of financial models and dashboards.
• Keep abreast of taxation changes, statutory requirements, and accounting standards in AU and the UK.
• Contribute to internal audits, compliance checks, and control reviews.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions.

Qualifications and experience:

• CPA certification is required.
• A graduate of B.S. Accountancy or any bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Proven experience in financial reporting and tax compliance, particularly in the AU and UK contexts
• Hands-on experience using Xero
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Comfortable working with SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Prior experience in an Australian or UK-based company is highly preferred
