About The Role ….
- Technical
- Current knowledge and experience of various entity structures and the tax implications of each
- Prepare Financial Accounts and Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies
- Prepare periodic Management Accounts and BAS
- Undertake research on Tax and related issues for internal and/or external use
- Prepare comprehensive working papers consistent with Bartons standard operating procedures
- Review and complete activity statements
- An understanding of the application of GST and CGT
- An understanding of state taxes
- Experience in the use of the following: Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office
- Quality, Productivity and Planning
- Proactively identify and communicate job status and emerging issues
- Apply a high level of self-review to work
- Independently manage work flow and productivity
- Well thought out and considered problem solving skills
- KPI’s & Client Service
- Meet all productivity and job budgets along with service targets consistently

We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:
- Graduate Degree or working towards
- CA/CPA/CTA intending to work towards
- Must have two years’ experience with our software XPM, Xero Ledgers/ Tax, and FYI
- Current knowledge and experience of various entity structures and the tax implications of each
- Prepare Financial Accounts and Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies
- Prepare periodic Management Accounts and BAS
- Undertake research on Tax and related issues for internal and/or external use
- Prepare comprehensive working papers consistent with Bartons standard operating procedures
- Review and complete activity statements
- An understanding of the application of GST and CGT
- An understanding of state taxes
- Experience in the use of the following: Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office
