The Audit Operations Officer will be a key contributor as part of JGSHI Corporate Internal Audit’s Operations Function. The role will service both the Office of the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) and JG Center Audit Operations requirements across all business units, encompassing audit initiatives deployment, budget execution and management, audit engagement support, organization development, etc.

WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?

  • Support multiple audit initiatives/projects across the conglomerate i.e. GRC, Continuous Auditing, CSA, QAIP, and support JG Center audits.
  • Lead budget forecasting, monitoring, control, and reporting for the center; and extend support to other audit business units, as needed.
  • Build technical competency while assisting audit engagements requiring multi-disciplinary skills (i.e. Financial, Operations, Compliance, Fraud, IT, Corporate Purchasing, 3 rd Party, Forensic Accounting, Data Analytics, etc.)
  • Stewardship of back-end audit engagement processes such as ensuring final audit reports are proper reviewed, approved and recorded in the system; issue monitoring, and scorecarding.
  • Provide assistance for Office of the CAE needs, audit capability building, process /standards development and deployment, etc.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s or College Degree in Accountancy or any Business-related course
  • Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, or CRMA a plus
  • Strong budget management, analysis and forecasting skills
  • Deep understanding of accounting policies and procedures a plus
  • Preferably with working knowledge on systems such as SAP, Sharepoint, etc.
  • Strong collaboration, coordination and file management skills
  • Strong financial, operations and IT controls mindset
  • Experience working with internal and/or external auditors, familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) a plus
  • Preferably with experience in industries similar to JG Business Units.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience
