The Acquiring Officer is focused in protecting the BPI ATM brand image through strategized placements of the machines while ensuring the balance profitability, and visibility of the BPI ATM network, without sacrificing usage and at the same time establishing good relationship with various internal and external stakeholders that support the ATM Channel.

- Conducts comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks, determine necessary control measures, and evaluate whether existing controls are adequate or need adjustments. This will help the bank be prepared if the identified risk occurs
- Ensures that the Business Continuity Plan of the division is in place to able to continuously provide service to clients during calamities, disasters and other events that might affect business operations
- Performs System Administration tasks as outlined in the System Access Rights to provide essential support for channel-related systems
- Carries out user acceptance testing for ATM channel-related projects to ensure that all projects and system enhancements are thoroughly tested and meet business and user requirements
- Ensures the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and other documents are securely stored in compliance with audit and legal requirements
- Manages and monitors the ATM network including acquisition of new ATMs, retirement of old ATMs and monitoring of ATM usage, availability and profitability based on assigned portfolio of lessors
- Coordinates ATM contract negotiations, ensures the completion of required documentation, and manages compliance requirements, including government permits and property taxes, to adhere to all legal and audit standards
- Manages ATM Operations, Branches and other 3rd parties (Commercial ATM Lessors and Corporate Banking, Area Business Directors) for any ATM movement to ensure timely deployment and pull out of machines
- Utilizes the Usage and Profitability report to assess site performance and identify initiatives to increase ATM usage at specific locations
- Provides recommendations and endorsements on pull-out of non-performing ATMs based on performance standards and overall business relationship with the lessor in order to maximize allocation of banks resources
- Oversees ATM Operations in achieving availability to guarantee optimal service to client
- Ensures that ATM Operations provides the channel with root cause analyses and action plans to address ATM availability issues, assisting the channel in making informed business decisions
- Deploys the onsite location minimum requirement of one ATM unit per branch to service clients
- Strategically deploys selected offsite locations to serve BPI and non-BPI clients
- Deploys to Corporate location to service corporate clients as needed
- Reviews and updates ATM Site Standards Checklist to ensure it includes all the requirements of the channel.
- Oversees COG ATM operations in their compliance to the ATM Site Standard Checklist to certify that ATMs, ATM sites and ATM signages are within Channel standards
- Conducts surprise site/ocular inspections of offsite location to ensure that ATMs, ATM sites and ATM signages are within Channel standards and will ultimately prevent client complaints
- Provides guidance and support to direct reports to help them achieve targets, fulfill job requirements, and receive necessary training and development
- Bachelor’s Degree in any 4-year course
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PPT)
- Knowledge in Data analytics
- Must have good documentation skills
- Must have Project Management skills
- Must be proficient in oral and communication skills
- Must have good supervisory skills
- Must be able to think strategically
- Must have good negotiations skills
