The Associate Infrastructure Reliability Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to provide tier one technical support at the Global Operations Command Center in Quezon City, Philippines. Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor infrastructure components on-premises and in the cloud and perform daily system activities.
- Provide 1st level support for issues related to infrastructure, including IaaS and PaaS components, as part of a team that delivers 24/7 operational services.
- Perform system checks and basic maintenance plans, troubleshoot system operating problems, and determine the cause of system interruptions.
- Assist Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application teams in creating and handling monitoring and troubleshooting tasks, and in the coordination and resolution of incidents.
- Document procedures and contribute to the onboarding of new tools and processes through improved automation.
- Work Arrangement: This position requires full-time, onsite presence at the Global Operations Command Center in Quezon City, Philippines.
- 24/7/365 Coverage: As part of a 24/7/365 operation, the role involves providing continuous support to maintain infrastructure and IT services.
- Shifting Schedules: The position operates on an 8-hour shift schedule, 5 days a week, with shifts alternating between early, mid, and night shifts. Shift patterns may change based on management and business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in supporting applications in production environments running on Linux
- Knowledge in Incident Management and Problem Management
- Experience in monitoring and basic troubleshooting
- Documentation and administration skills
- Must possess at least a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience working with IaaS and PaaS in Microsoft Azure, such as Managed SQL web apps, etc.
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
- AZ900 Certification is a plus
- Preferably knowledge in SQL administration and IIS administration
