Associate Developer

This job is part of the Digital Customer Excellence Value chain, accounting for :60 % of Grundfos’ annual revenue. We organize into individual Scrum teams where Grundfos empowers the team to decide innovation and maintenance of several products, together with a Scrum Master and a Product Owner. The team is empowered to evaluate the best distribution of tasks to be done.

The person in this position is expected to show a very high level of accountability and responsibility, while also having some domain experience within the team’s product responsibility.

The work location will be at Grundfos Manila, but in agreement with your team, you can arrange days working from home.

Your main responsibilities:

• Implement full stack solutions.
• Participate in analysis, design, development, and deployment.
• Write clean code and create flexible software architecture.
• Refactor, update and debug code.
• Learn new technologies and domains – the team values constantly expanding our knowledge and skillsets.
• Continuously improve and learn new technologies, domains, and practices both as an individual and within the Product Team.
• Mentor other Team Members inside the Product Team.
• Collaborate within the Product Team and across the organization.
  
  

Your required skills and experience include:

• Maximum of 3 years of professional experience
  
  

Need to have:

• Experience in Java.
• Experience with JavaScript including ES6 and beyond.
• Experience with a frontend framework like Vue, React, or Angular.
• Experience with NPM, Node.js, SASS.
• Git or Bitbucket or its equivalent.
• Proven track record of delivering maintainable and scalable systems.
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP services, APIs and microservices.
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with Quarkus, Gradle – Kotlin, Open Shift, Azure is a plus.
• Experience in Adobe Experience Manager development is an advantage.[JA1]
• Experience working with UX and dedicated UX experts.
• Experience working with expert testers and test strategy.
• Experience in working in an Agile setup.
• Experience in using JIRA.
• Knowledge in Maven or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket) is an advantage.
• Experience working with backend programming especially microservices and containerization.
