Associate Accountant (1 year contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP) Monitoring & Reconciliation:
• Monitor and track all accounts payable transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of AP accounts, including invoices, receipts, and payment schedules.
• Work closely with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
• Prepare and process payments according to established procedures.
• Assist in Tax Filings:
• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with local and national tax regulations.
• Collaborate with senior staff to ensure timely tax filings and payment submissions.
• Maintain records and track tax obligations to ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist with Other Tax and Compliance-Related Documents:
• Support in preparing and submitting tax clearance documents as required by local authorities.
• Assist in business permit renewal processes by coordinating necessary filings and documentation.
• Keep updated on regulatory changes affecting tax and permit compliance.
• Record Keeping & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Ensure proper documentation is filed and readily available for audits, tax reviews, and other compliance checks.
• General Accounting Support:
• Assist with general accounting duties, such as data entry, reporting, and account analysis.
• Provide support during internal and external audits as needed.
