We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Traded Risk Control.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Traded Risk embeds an effective Control Management framework globally in line with FIM standards and the Risk target operating model.
- Acting as risk and control Subject Matter Expert for the function. Ensure management understanding and oversight of risks, controls meets Group’s Non-Financial Risk requirements.
- Facilitating the raising of Management Self-Identified Issues and act as central point of contact for Audit.
- Assisting the department to develop Risk & Control Assessments. Facilitating annual RCA workshops and ensuring RCAs are kept up to date and are embedded within the department.
- Ensure Continuous Monitoring in Traded Risk is effectively performed at required the RMF standards and assist Control Owners in their duties in that respect.
- Ensure processes within the Control Management function are efficient, robust and well-documented. Actively seek ways of improving processes and achieving efficiencies.
Job Requirements:
- Robust Knowledge of Global Markets asset classes, Rates, Foreign Exchange, Equities and Credit products.
- Experience with Traded Risk management, systems and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Non-Financial Risk frameworks.
- Influential skills to drive and steer necessary risk changes to meet expectations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work with different profiles and stakeholders.
- Skillful on data analysis and data handling.
- Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigor, including being able to contextualise data into business activities and conclusions
- Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines. Interpersonal Skills (i.e., collaboration and networking) with experience of dealing with stakeholders including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
