We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Fund Services.
In this role, you will:
- He/She shall support the Fund Services team in managing the fund administration portfolio of various Variable Unit-Linked (VUL), Mutual Funds(MF) and Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITF) of insurance companies, asset managers and banks
- He/She will ensure timely and accurate reporting of Net Asset Value (NAV) and Net Asset Value Per Unit (NAVPU) of managed funds within agreed service levels and standards with clients
- Manage the daily servicing of various Securities Services clients to help increase the scores in the annual Client Surveys by constantly developing service enhancements and initiate process improvements and streamlining projects.
- Ensures compliance to regulations and continually monitors and manages operational risks inherent to the business and including the identification, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
- He/She must ensure full compliance to all the requirements of AMLA, HKMA and all other appropriate Group and regulatory guidelines.
- He/she will contribute towards developing and maintaining customer relationships by ensuring compliance with service standards and taking a pro-active stance to address fund services and custody customer requirements
- Assist in Growing the fund service and custody business
- Contributes toward enhancing Bank's profitability
- Maintain HSBC control standards including the timely implementation of internal and external audit
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Client-focus, service-oriented, strong organizational and management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to challenging deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong numerical skills for reporting
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize and work with little supervision
- Knowledge of fund valuation is an advantage
- Knowledge of Securities Services, Investments or Trust business is an advantage
- CPA an advantage
- Successfully complete all global mandatory training courses and post course assessment
