Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Sales Logistics Assistant .

Reporting under the Distribution Center Manager, the Sales Logistics Assistant support common transactions Outbound Logistics covering settlement of bills payment for Supply Chain customers and budget administration of the Department, following implementation of applicable supply chain procedures & standards, anchored with business needs and objectives.

I. Duties, Responsibilities And Authorities

The Sales Logistics Assistant shall:

  • Process, settle and monitor payment of billings from truckers & trucking services, and third party service providers;
  • Administer budget for the Supply Chain Department including tracking & monitoring of operational expenses, and implementation of capital expenditures & projects;
  • Support and assist other functions, as deemed necessary;
  • Ensure implementation of policies and internal memorandum; and align with updates on implemented policies and standards related but not limited to EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC; and as in the case may be, form part of the Internal Audit team and ensure compliance on, established management systems mentioned;
  • Perform other tasks and functions as may be delegated by the Immediate Superior.

II. REPORTING LINES

  • Functional and administrative reporting line as subordinate of the Distribution Center Manager.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of any four-year course, preferably Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or transport, warehousing & logistics-related field; license and/or certification is an advantage;
  • With or without experience, exposure in warehousing and delivery management field is an advantage;
  • Familiarity in implementing relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), HACCP, HALAL and FSSC;
  • With deep proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Teams, at minimum), and SAP; and
  • Has a good team-player, customer-centric and innovative work attitude.
