Job Summary
Perform hands-on product development through formulation, raw material selection, international test methods, quality control and techniques

Diploma in Applied Science/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Food Engineering or related field
Perform hands-on product development through formulation, raw material selection, international test methods, quality control and techniques
General Responsibilities
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Analyze and suggest innovative product concepts by incorporating the raw materials
- Perform chemical and physical parameter tests for formulated products to guarantee the ability and stability of the products/samples
- Procure different raw materials for product development and maintain those raw materials along with their storage data
- Communicate effectively to the reporting manager on project progress, results and analysis that will lead to product solutions
- Visit exhibition and trade shows to identify new opportunities/products/ingredients
- Support in providing technical training for the sales team to upgrade their technical capabilities and product knowledge
- Maintain test reports, technical literature, equipment calibration, the raw materials database and project status files
- Assist the sales team to successfully demonstrate product applications to customers by undertaking trials at customer locations
- Cooperate with the sales team to provide product feedback and documentation support
- Demonstrate working knowledge of industry and products
- Demonstrate knowledge of scientific, chemical and laboratory methods
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
