Purpose of the Job

To lead competitive buying, sustainable sourcing, and purpose-led partnerships for logistics services (warehousing and transportation) in the Philippines.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead sourcing and contracting for warehousing and transportation services within the Philippines.
  • Manage supplier relationships and drive performance through structured governance and regular reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal logistics, supply chain, and finance teams to identify cost optimization opportunities and improve service levels.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives in logistics procurement, including automation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure logistics procurement strategies align with Unilever’s sustainability and resilience goals.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes affecting logistics operations in the Philippines.
  • Troubleshoot supply chain disruptions and lead crisis management efforts with logistics partners.
  • Implement tools and processes to optimize sourcing practices specific to warehousing and transportation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management OR Master’s degree with specialisation in Procurement/Supply Chain and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP and digital sourcing platforms (advantageous).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
