About The Role

The Assistant Manager Operations role is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of Bonds.ph, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves supporting trading settlement, transaction processing and reporting activities, as well as maintaining a high level of service quality by employing industry best practices for treasury back-office operations. The Operations Lead will work closely with various teams to streamline and design processes, mitigate risks, and contribute to the company’s mission of providing a seamless and accessible investment platform for Filipino customers.

General Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Manage daily GSED back-office operations and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures. Ensure timely transaction processing via use of internal systems and external systems such as NRoSS and PDEX.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure operations are in total compliance with applicable laws and requirements from regulators such as the BSP, SEC, and PDS.
  • Service Quality: Take on a customer-first mindset to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical assistance and support when able to stakeholders as it pertains to BTR, bank and payment systems.
  • Collaborate with Partners: Engage with internal and external stakeholders such as the BTr, banks, and e-wallet partners to coordinate various initiatives and projects
  • Reporting and Communication: This role reports to the Chief Operations Officer of the bonds.ph and PDAX group of companies.
  • Other tasks as assigned or delegated by the department head and/or supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
  • Experience in bank and treasury (cash, fixed income, equities, FX, etc.) settlement operations and systems is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Google and Microsoft Office software and applications especially Excel and/or Sheets.
