As an Assistant Accounting Manager - Tax & Accounts Payables at B. Braun you will play a vital role in assisting with maintaining compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company, as well as manage the third party payables processing, and will lead a team of accounting professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental objectives.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage tax compliance, including preparation and filing of returns, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and ensure timely implementation of changes.
  • Respond to tax notices and inquiries from authorities.
  • Coordinate with external advisors for tax planning and compliance.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Support internal and external audits with schedules and responses.
  • Oversee third-party payables processing and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate on system enhancements and improvements.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 8 - 10 years progressive experience in Finance with 3 to 5 years in tax accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations, with experience in tax compliance and reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
