We are seeking for a collaborative and innotivative Application Technologist II in our who will be responsible for flavors applications in products under relevant categories or market segments which include Beverages, Sweets and Savory. You will be using your prior knowledge and experience to develop in this area to promote, build new business and reinforce/protect existing ones by providing technical service to clients and prospects. This is a strong resource to the Technical Services Manager with regard to short and long-range plans, strategies and tactics.
This opportunity is 100% office-based at our Biñan City in Laguna, Philippines office.

Sensient Technologies (Philippines), Inc. is located in Biñan, Laguna. This serves as the company's production, technical and applications, and service center for the dynamic Philippine market for colors and flavors. The site, which is an accredited Silliker Gold standard included stringent procedures and documentation for, but not limited to, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and HACCP, includes its own warehouse, office, and applications laboratories.

This opportunity is 100% office-based at our Biñan City in Laguna, Philippines office.
What you will do:
- Formulate prototypes, analyze opportunities and problems, and initiate/provide creative solutions according to customer requirements.
- Provide technical assistance and work on new product ideas proactively and report on how new product ideas could be used organizationally.
- Pre-qualify new raw materials and ensure regulatory compliance required for product development.
- Establish specifications data sheet for new products and keep in trend for market launches.
- Collaboration among various departments to achieve complete complex tasks in a timely manner to support business objectives.
- Represent the company and attending various trade organizations, i.e. Philippine Association of Food Technologists, Philippine Food Chamber, etc.
- Conduct training and coaching the team for further development.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned to or required for the job.
- Bachelor's degree in food science or equivalent education.
- Typically two to five years of experience or a Master's degree and relevant experience.
- Product and process development experience. Exposed to quality systems such as GMP, HACCP and FSSC.
- Analytical instrument knowledge; product, processing and testing knowledge, including the ability to understand and explain results.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, including short notice travel
