Application Support Specialist –Customs/Logistics

If you’ve built your career in international logistics and want to do more than day-to-day operations, this role is your next step. You'll use your logistics expertise to support users of the CargoWise International Logistics module and help shape how the software works. By identifying pain points, solving real-world issues, and working closely with Product and Development teams, you'll directly influence improvements to the platform.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in international logistics or freight forwarding operations
- Deep understanding of end-to-end shipment processes (air/ocean freight, import/export, customs, etc.)
- Experience using CargoWise or a similar logistics ERP (SAP TM, Oracle SCM, Descartes, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate process and system-level issues
- Experience with documentation, SOPs, or training is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional support issues related to the CargoWise platform
- Investigate client-reported issues across freight operations, routing, customs, compliance, and partner coordination
- Support logistics users across Europe, North America, and Asia
- Analyze recurring issues and provide insights to the product and engineering teams for continuous improvement
- Act as a subject matter expert on global logistics workflows within CargoWise
- Participate in user testing, system rollouts, and feature enhancements related to logistics modules
About the Team
The position is part of our Global Product Support (GPS) team, providing an excellent opportunity to explore all aspects of CargoWise One's functionalities. The team goes beyond just supporting CargoWise One, it also encompasses infrastructure requirements and managing major outages within WTG. Team collaboration is crucial to the team's success, with a commitment to open communication 24/7.
