Job Summary

As an Analytics Solutions Manager in Payments Operations, you will lead a team responsible for delivering data insights, visualizations, and metrics dashboards. You will analyze business requirements, design and build operational reporting, and support management decisions through ad-hoc analysis. Your role includes mentoring associates, guiding career development, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Operations to implement new capabilities and ensure high standards in data management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of associates, fostering innovation and continuous improvement
  • Perform data mining, analytics, and problem solving to deliver actionable insights
  • Analyze business requirements and design, build, and test high-quality data visualizations
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Operations to develop requirements and implement new capabilities
  • Ensure adherence to team standards and understanding of relevant data sources
  • Proactively mitigate risk through process improvement, root cause analysis, and collaboration
  • Support continuous learning and adoption of new tools and technologies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, peers, and management
  • Summarize findings into concise, high-level points and visually depict key data
  • Contribute to the development of automated solutions for business problems
  • Ensure timely and high-standard delivery of business demands under pressure

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent business experience
  • Fifteen years of experience in business system analysis or application design and development
  • Ten years of experience with SQL, Python, Alteryx, or similar programming languages
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Extensive knowledge of database design and relational database principles
  • Experience with large-scale data warehouses
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Business Objects)
  • Experience with Agile or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent team-working skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound recommendations for management

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Proficiency in querying enterprise databases using SQL
  • Experience writing code in SQL or Pyspark and performing statistical analysis
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Aptitude for developing automated solutions to solve business problems
