About the role

As a Field Agriculturist at Geonature Inc., you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sustainable farming practices. In this full-time position based in Carranglan Nueva Ecija, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing agricultural operations to ensure efficient and environmentally-friendly food production.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing sustainable farming strategies to enhance crop yields and quality
• Monitoring and optimizing irrigation systems to conserve water resources
• Identifying and addressing pests and diseases through integrated pest management
• Collaborating with the team to introduce new, innovative farming techniques
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations and guidelines
• Providing training and guidance to farm workers to improve their skills and productivity
• Monitoring of the daily farm operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar agricultural or horticultural role
• Strong understanding of sustainable farming practices and integrated pest management
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in using agricultural equipment and technology
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable food production
