Your Role

As a Acumatica Consultant, you will: 2. Client Consulting & Relationship Management 3. Project Execution & Delivery 4. Technical Collaboration 5. Continuous Improvement & Mentorship 6. Business Development Support

  • Implementation & Configuration
  • Support end-to-end Acumatica ERP implementations including discovery, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
  • Configure core Acumatica modules: Financials (GL, AP, AR, Banking), Distribution (Inventory, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders), CRM, and Manufacturing.
  • Develop workflows, automation steps, dashboards, and custom generic inquiries.
  • Translate business requirements into Acumatica solutions aligned with best practices and Lucid methodology.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of configurations and process flows.
  • Serve as the functional consultant for assigned clients.
  • Conduct business process reviews and recommend improvements leveraging Acumatica capabilities.
  • Deliver client training sessions and provide post- implementation support.
  • Act as trusted advisor to clients, anticipating needs and identifying opportunities for system optimization and cross-module efficiencies.
  • Partner with clients to ensure strong adoption and satisfaction after go-live.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, developers, and other consultants to deliver on scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Maintain detailed status updates and proactively communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, ensuring deliverables are understood and achieved.
  • Support data migration efforts and assist in UAT planning and execution.
  • Assist in the creation of project deliverables such as configuration documentation and training materials.
  • Provide technical support for existing clients.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customizations, and reports (GI, SQL).
  • Understand schema relationships and basic Acumatica development concepts to effectively communicate needs to developers.
  • Validate and test customizations, ensuring alignment with business logic.
  • Stay current with Acumatica certifications and release updates.
  • Recommend internal process improvements and reusable templates for project delivery.
  • Participate in solution design sessions and contribute to practice standards and playbooks.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients (add-on modules, automation, and optimization projects).

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of Acumatica ERP consulting experience (implementation and support).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Expertise in at least two major functional areas (Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, CRM, or Projects).
  • Acumatica certifications (Functional Consultant or Advanced certifications preferred).
  • Strong understanding of business accounting and operations.
  • Experience with SQL queries, data migration tools, and Acumatica customization packages a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a consulting environment.

  • Acumatica Business Consultant
  • Acumatica Technical Specialist
  • Acumatica System Administrator
