The Acquisition Marketing Officer is responsible to develop & drive BPI Preferred strategy to increase market penetration on the specific sub-segment of the affluent market – size market opportunities, leverage on deep understanding of industry trends, customer insights & evolution, market behavior, and develop a solid path forward.

This role will plan and implement (E2E) strategic, tactical client persona-driven programs to grow the sub-segment customer base - acquire new-to-bank and tier-up existing clients, and prevent attrition, churn, and downgrade of Preferred customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategies after conducting a thorough analysis of the marketing environment and preparation of specific marketing programs that will ensure the successful implementation of agreed strategies
  • Coordinate with product and channel groups to ensure that program designs/concepts are aligned with the overall segment strategy
  • Prepare the Marketing Program Proposal (MPP) to ensure that all cost components for various activities are captured and thereafter monitors spending to guarantee that expenditures are within agreed budgets
  • Communicate the vision/objective of segment-initiated programs to ensure its timely, effective, and efficient implementation through the execution channels
  • Monitor closely the results of marketing programs to ensure that there is timely and accurate feedback on what is and what is not effective; consequently, prepares post project evaluation reports to make sure that there is sufficient documentation on every marketing activity
  • Conduct financial analysis report in order to monitor profitability targets as well as budget setting purposes
  • Analyze consumer, industry and competitive data in order to keep aware of the emerging trends, business opportunities and threats affecting the brand
  • Work with Advertising and PR agencies, DTI, Third- party providers, Ayala group of companies, other brands relevant to the target clients
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate in Business Management/ Economics/ Marketing or related courses
  • 3-5 years in retail banking or any industry dealing with known customers, including the management of thereof
  • Ideally from industries such as financial products/services, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods, preferably in the areas of traditional/digital marketing, sales, branch banking or business development
  • Background in Analytics, Market Research, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and loyalty
  • Ability to

  • Strong communication skills, articulate and flexible
  • Solid inter and intra personal skills
