As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will:
- Acquire, review, and process supplier invoices for payment
- Perform data entry of vendor invoices and maintain accurate records
- Research discrepancies, unapproved, and aged invoices to ensure proper resolution
- Assist with vendor inquiries and provide analysis and research support
- Conduct periodic vendor statement reconciliations to confirm all invoices are processed
- Support preparation and distribution of weekly Accounts Payable reporting
- Promote and demonstrate the client's culture in daily operations
Non-negotiables
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) with a minimum of 5+ years in general accounting
- Strong customer service responsiveness with the ability to resolve issues while maintaining positive relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of a large organization
- Deadline-oriented, capable of handling multiple and competing priorities in both individual and team settings
