Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Summary:

The Analyst provides assistance to the Accounting Officer.

• Ensures payment of accounts payable transactions with required payment request and attachments.
• Records accounts payable transactions in the system.
• Establishes correct accounts payable balances.
• Prepares and monitors outstanding unpaid importations, duties, insurance, and taxes.
• Prepares aging of Accounts Payable.
• Ensures that all debit transactions in the bank statement are with approved AP Vouchers and Check Requisition Slip
• Observes month-end closing of accounts payable transactions.
• Strictly observes accounting control procedures.
• Stores, manages, tracks, scans, organizes, and maintains Accounts Payable-related documents.
• Performs other relevant responsibilities necessary for the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any business or finance-related course.
• At least 1 year related working experience.
